So I'm feeling the ouch in more ways than one. First, I had the eye opening realization that it's been two months since my last post. Big ouch. I'm not going to write some long winded post of excuses for my absence...I'm just going to say that it was a completely upside down and backward couple of months, and I ended up just checking out. I wasn't avoiding life or ignoring life...I was just out. It's been a struggle to get me back, but here I am!
Now for the second ouch. I developed some really bad habits over the holidays, and they carried over in to January. What are those really bad habits? Um...stopping at the grocery store on the way home from work...every day. (Shaking my head.) It wouldn't be so bad if I was hanging out in the produce section, but I was shopping in the aisles of those monstrous processed foods. Oh and skipping workouts for some really LAME excuses. So I'm just going to say that I've gained it all back. I will post before photos, but in a month when I have a lovely progress photo to show you right next to it. :)
And the final ouch. The ouch I'm going to keep in my mind whenever I hear that voice in the back of my head: getting back in shape sucks...really sucks. Just a few months ago, I could go full speed ahead teaching a Turbo Kick class - talking through the whole thing, jumping and leaping and running all over the room to motivate every one in class...and now just trying to get through one Turbo has me gasping for air...and I'm in my living room. Good grief. Never again. There is no excuse that can validate this.
If you have any bad habits you've picked up lately that aren't helping you make your life better, then come on with me in letting them go.
Huh...this was easier than I thought.
