I am not crazy, but I may have reached critical levels of craziness this past couple of days all because I was trying to buy more canned pumpkin for my daily oatmeal fix. And just in case you didn't watch Jay Leno on Wednesday night, there seems to be a shortage of pumpkin. I have no idea why, but I have confirmed it. And it's very inconvenient. I hit up 10 stores before I found some...yes, I said 10. Staring down empty shelf after empty shelf was a little bit frightening - what if I didn't have my pumpkin oatmeal for my power breakfast? Ah! It's okay though as I now have 11 cans of it (8 small, 3 large)...I have officially become a hoarder. On the up side, I'm pretty much set for a couple of months.
Moral of the story: If you use canned pumpkin or a pumpkin product in your cooking, then you might want to buy a little bit extra the next time you find some.
Happy Friday!

What's up with THAT? Maybe because we're just before pumpkin season so the pumpkins that last us between harvests are almost out?
Not to be all blog-pushy again... but need UPDATE! :)
