And that's after I towelled off my face! I had sweat pouring off of me...into my eyes...I didn't even have the gusto to smile. Yes, I was completely spent. I almost stopped a couple of times. And as much as I wanted to cry during the workout itself, I feel so great that I'm getting my gusto back. It's been missing. Speaking of which, I took my before measurements on Tuesday morning, and almost puked when I stepped on the scale. Those excuses have really crept up on me over the last three months that I've been living in a hotel at training for work. Funny how you can automatically assume that the fact that your pants are getting tighter is the fault of the dryer...and only the dryer. It couldn't be the missed workouts and Snickers bars I kept sneaking!
But I really have to say that having a buddy to start with me is quite possibly the best motivation for me right now. (That coupled with my fear of a certain one of my best friends who knows when I'm telling the truth about whether I worked out or not - she's small but fierce!)That idea of staring tomorrow kept popping in my head these last couple of days, but I just keep reminding myself that tomorrow isn't an option because I don't want to leave Jesse hanging.

Alright, so the first workout we did was the Fit Test. The idea is to get a starting point for ourselves, and then redo the test every two weeks to see how much we're improving. That's where the friendly competition comes in - who can improve the most! Here's how we did:

Also, here's a quick shout out to my P90Xer Sam Crowe, who worked out last night even though he wasn't feeling it. And guess what, he said it was the "Best thing I did for myself all day, maybe even all week (with exception of starting up again yesterday)! " Yay you Sam!

Oh, this is going to be really fun to watch go down. And go Jesse for doing it too! Excited to see the progress.
And also, I know this isn't the point, but your eyes look so lovely and blue in your photo! Haha!
