Resolutions Going Off Course?
Have your daily workouts begun to slip? Has your food intake gotten way out of hand again? Maybe the problem is with those New Year's resolutions you made exactly one month ago. If you've already blown them, they probably weren't realistic to begin with. Don't throw in the towel. Think about what went wrong and then work on ways you can fix it. Chances are you need to break your big resolutions — like lose 40 pounds — down into several smaller goals with milestones. Need some help tweaking them? Check out what one of my teammates said recently about why some resolutions don't work and how you might salvage yours.
"I think that you need to visualize what you want every day using little things. That little dress or those `perfect' jeans that don't fit — buy them or pull them out of the closet and try them on every time you don't want to work out or you want to eat ice cream. People don't realize that little goals are what is going to get you there. People make these huge resolutions, but don't decide on the way they are going to accomplish them. It is very difficult to wake up at 3 a.m. [to work out]. I would think that you just need to get on a consistent schedule where working out is something you do, just like going to work. Just find a time each day that works the best. For me it is easiest to go right after work. If I do this I don't have the chance to get occupied with cleaning or to get busy with something else. Taking a gym bag to work makes me have no excuse to go home first." – bree66
Don't let yourself get stuck before you barely even start. Get motivated again — and get moving! You won't regret it when the pounds come off and the results of your hard work pay off.
Happy Monday!

Court: Commit to attending the Beachbody Summit and watch your resolve to be leaner go up by 100%! We have about 85 days to the Summit. Yeah! I'm down 10 lbs in 4 weeks since I made my resolve to eat clean and workout hard every day on Jan 2nd. Knowing I'm going to be at Summit reallly motivates me. Been doing a combo of Power 90 for my weight days and Insanity for the cardio days! Great combo for melting off fat and getting in awesome shape.
