No, not that one silly. I'm talking about FEAR! Fear is what holds us back, wouldn't you agree? No one wants to look silly or awkward so instead we stay in our comfort zone. Some people have no fear (or at least they do a darn good job pretending), and I am so not one of those people. When I first started thinking about becoming a Turbo Kick instructor, I almost talked myself out of it because I didn't want anyone to laugh at me. What if I started teaching, and I fell down in front of people? What if I couldn't work the microphone? What if someone didn't like me? What if I started wheezing into the microphone? Well, guess what, I did fall down in the middle of a class (I have the scar to prove it). I did have a hard time with that silly microphone. There were people who didn't like my flavor of Turbo. And yes, I almost passed out in front of my first class. Guess what else though - it is one of the most fun things I have ever done, and I can't believe I waited so long to take the plunge.
What scares you? What's holding you back? Are you afraid that it's going to be too hard? Well, you won't know unless you try! There are always going to be fears. Just make sure you don't let them cripple you to the point that you don't make a change. It's going to be uncomfortable at first, but it'll be okay, I promise. Turn that fear around, and use it to push you forward. You just might be surprised to find something absolutely fantastic.
Here's to living the fit life!

P.S. Did you pat yourself on the back yet for what you accomplished today?
