"Dedicate yourself to the good you deserve and desire for yourself. Give yourself peace of mind. You deserve to be happy. You deserve delight." -Mark Victor Hansen
So I've been experimenting these last couple of weeks with getting up about an hour earlier than normal during the week to get my workout in BEFORE work instead of after. And I have to tell you...I'm hooked! I do spend the first 15 minutes wandering around my living room all bleary eyed wondering what on earth I'm doing up at 5:15 in the morning. Seriously though, once I hit that warm-up, my body starts to say, "Yeah! Let's go!" I do have to push myself a little bit harder to keep the intensity up because that feeling to just quit and lie down on the couch is a bit louder that early. I have to say though, when I'm done with that workout, I feel incredible. The workout high is fresh, and I'm ready to take on the day. I find I'm having an easier time making good food choices during the day, and I'm more able to deal with my stress in a good way like taking a quick stroll outside instead of a quick stroll to the vending machine.
Previously, I've said that I don't workout in the morning because it doesn't work for me. I'm too tired, can't push myself as hard and I don't get as much out of the workout. Well, that was very self-limiting. I'm so glad I let go of that notion, and tried something different. I dare you to do the same. You just might surprise yourself!

Oh you are Wonder Woman. I realize I'm committing my own terrible self-fulfilling prophecy here, but there is NO WAY I can make myself work out in the morning.
