It's the age old question: do you strength train before your cardio or vice versa? Okay, so maybe it isn't THE age old question, but it must be one of them.
And you know, the answer is that it really doesn't matter. There isn't a secret formula. What really matters is that you do the workout and you make sure to push yourself to your max. I used to make sure to get my strength training workout in before getting to the cardio, but I found myself not going to failure because I wanted to save energy for the cardio. Then by the time I did get to the cardio, my muscles were tired enough that it was hard to really push myself. Now, 90% of the time I'm getting that cardio workout in first. I can push myself to the max during the cardio, and I get my muscles all the way to failure during the weight training.
If you are trying to figure out which to get in first, then try it both ways. Take note of how intense your workout is each way, and voila, there's your answer!

What kind of time should be spent on Strength and Cardio, ideally? Or maybe it's different for each person. Say you've got an hour to get a workout in--should you split it 30 minutes, or do 45 minutes Cardio, 15 Strength? Or change it up day to day?
