Happy Holidays! So I finished up my last workout of my first week of ChaLEAN Extreme yesterday. And what a week it was! Every workout was a new surprise, and I'm so happy that I've found the program that fits me so perfectly. Don't get me wrong, I'm a die hard Turbo Jam fan which is why I became an instructor for the live version, Turbo Kick. ChaLEAN Extreme is just exactly what I didn't realize I was waiting for.
So at the end of yesterday's workout, Chalene asked a question, "On a scale of 1 - 10, how hard did you work today?" 10 being that I couldn't have given any more to get that workout done, and 1 being that I just showed up to say hello. This got me thinking, I need to start scoring my workouts with this in addition to tracking my progress with how much weight I'm using, how many inches/pounds/body fat I'm losing, and how many reps I'm getting through. Not only for progress tracking, but thinking about that score during the workout will push me to jump higher and make it through that last repition.
Think about adding that to your progress tracker - it'll change the way you workout.
